THINGS FAll Apart - identity essay
|
Chinua Achebe, the author of the novel Things Fall Apart illustrated the living of an African tribe, Igbo village, who was invaded by Europeans during the age of Imperialism. The Igbo village had their unique tradition, culture, and social forces. Achebe had shown character complexity and character development throughout the story.
In the assignment, I wrote an essay focusing on the character development of Okonkwo and Nwoye due to the extreme shift in the social forces which was influenced by the introduction of foreign culture. |
